This is a beautiful piece of history sure to be a nice addition to any home or office. The top is flat offering a nice display surface.

The hardware is original and in great condition. It was designed to protect the trunk during travel. The top metal strap guides (front and back) are always a great feature. The bottom front even has strap hardware to hold it securely in place.

The rollers would actually roll instead of letting the corners take the hit when thrown or bumped.

The guides on each side of the Eagle lock help to line up the top when closing, making the top fit more securely.

The Eagle Lock works great and comes with a key.

The leather handles are original. The replacement leather straps are from

The inside (including the bottom) have several coats of Tung oil for protection and breath-ability while the outside has satin poly and then hand rubbed for added beauty. The finish is soft to the touch but very durable.

The bottom rollers help with mobility empty or full.
