Connie's Trunks gives tired old trunks new life from the beautiful shores of Sebago Lake, Maine.

Antique Trunk #566 - Beautiful 1890s Flat-Top Cabin Trunk with Working Corbin Lock & Key and Removable Legs

Here's a great looking Cabin Trunk which is perfect to use as a coffee table. By adding legs, you can now place this in front of your couch and have a comfortable area for your feet. Since it originally had dark trim, we kept it the same.

  1. Top is flat offering a great useable surface. This is a perfect candidate for a glass top to utilize the entire surface area.

  2. The wood is in great condition which means it probably did not see a lot of rough travel.

  3. Corners are protected with beautiful contoured hardware.

  4. All the hardware is original including the lock and handle hardware.

  5. The hasps include built-in lifts that help when opening the trunk.

  6. The Lock is etched "CORBIN MADE IN USA." It comes with a key and works great.

  7. Replacement handles are from

  1. The inside offers a great storage area.

  1. We added removable legs so when using this as a coffee table you'll have a comfortable area to place your feet. If you prefer, the legs can be removed easily. Adding legs does not take away from the trunk's antiquity value, instead it adds to its versatility.

  2. Both the outside and inside are protected with satin Polyurethane and hand rubbed for added beauty.

The trunk measures 34.5 inches left to right, 20.5 inches front to back, and 16.5 inches tall as pictured (13 inches tall without the legs).
