You can purchase your restored antique trunk (or trunks) online right now using a credit card. We use PayPal to process all of our online orders.
PayPal is the world’s leading secure online transaction company . . . and you do not have to be a PayPal member to use it.
Our prices include insurance, packing, and shipping to the 48 contiguous United States. Occasionally we charge extra for shipping west of the Mississippi due to trunk weight or size. Any additional charges will be clearly indicated in the trunk write up.
How It Works
Once you have selected the antique trunk(s) you wish to purchase, click on any “View Cart” link to review the contents of your shopping cart. You will temporarily leave our Web site and enter PayPal’s secure processing area. There you enter your credit card billing and shipping information as you would for any other online order. Once your purchase is complete, you will be returned automatically to our Purchase “Thank You” page and you will receive an email invoice from PayPal confirming the transaction.
Browser Settings for PayPal
You must enable cookies on your Web browser for the PayPal shopping cart to work properly. You can usually do this by changing your settings under your browser’s Tools, Settings, or Preferences menu. Some older browsers may require you to close the PayPal window to return to Connie’s Trunks (rather than simply clicking the “Continue Shopping” button.
Paying By Check or Money Order
If you prefer to pay us by check or money order, simply print out our order form, fill it out completely, and send it with your check or money order to us. Once the payment clears, we will ship your trunk. If you decide to buy a trunk and pay by check or money order, please call us at (207) 693-1027 before sending payment so we can put a “hold” on your selected trunk. Please identify the trunk by its number.
Layaway plans are available for up to three months. To inquire about a layaway plan, contact us at or (207) 693-1027. Please note, there is a 20% re-stocking fee for trunks on layaway if you decide to cancel your purchase.
Shipping and handling via UPS to any of the USA’s contiguous 48 states is included in the price of most trunks, unless otherwise noted. If you want it shipped outside the USA or to Alaska or Hawaii, or have special delivery requirements, call us before you make your purchase for an estimate of additional shipping charges. We’ll email you a UPS tracking number once we have it so you can track your trunk’s progress.
If you are not satisfied with your selection, please either call or email us for a Return Authorization (RA) number. You will have 14 days to return your purchase for a full refund after delivery. The return freight will be at your expense. Out of the 700+ trunks we’ve sold, we have only had one trunk returned and that was because our customer did not measure where the trunk needed to go and it was too large (the customer did purchase a smaller one).
